Athlete.
Born at Winnipeg in 1934, he grew up at Swan Lake. At 16, he moved to Colorado after receiving a hockey scholarship then returned to Winnipeg and graduated from Daniel McIntyre Collegiate. He played baseball and hockey with the Winnipeg Monarchs, Winnipeg Warriors, Winnipeg Maroons, Canadian National Team, Columbus Club, and St. Boniface Native Sons. In 1964, he won the Allan Cup with the Winnipeg Maroons. He was inducted into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in hockey and baseball. He died at Stonewall on 15 July 2014.
