Educator.
Born on a farm in the RM of Elton on 15 October 1895, son of Alexander Cole and Margaret E. McQuitty, he graduated from Brandon College in 1924 then taught school at Forrest for a time. He was the Principal of Edrans School (1936-1944) and Austin School (1944-1962). He retired in 1962. He was Secretary of the Austin Chamber of Commerce and the Southern Film Council. He died at Austin, unmarried, on 8 April 1970 and was buried in the Austin Cemetery.
