Memorable Manitobans: John Leslie Clubine (1886-1970)

Municipal official.

Born on 23 December 1886, he resided in Morden, Manitoba for 79 years and served in a variety of roles in the community, including two terms as Mayor of Morden. He was an honorary life member of the Morden Chamber of Commerce and the Morden Curling Club, a President of the Morden Golf Club, and Curling Club. He died at Morden on 11 January 1970 and was buried in Hillside Cemetery.
