Civil servant, municipal official.
Born in Winnipeg on 21 March 1920, son of Neil Brown and Eliza Jane Campbell, he served in the Third Division Signals Corp from 1940 to 1945. After returning from Europe, he spent a short time in Saskatoon before settling in Lac du Bonnet where he worked for the Government Air Service for 33 years until his retirement in 1981. In 1944, he was married to wife Hazel. They had two children, Neil and Lisa. He served as Mayor of Lac du Bonnet (1964-1971), and a councillor there for 24 years. He died at Beausejour on 2 February 2008.
