Memorable Manitobans: Robert Brown (1863-?)Farmer. Born at Perthshire, Scotland on 21 January 1863, he came to Canada with his parents, Robert and Janet Brown, settling in the McKenzie District of Manitoba in 1884, where he purchased land and eventually farmed 640 acres. On 17 December 1902, he married Annie Barron (?-?) of Banffshire, Scotland, who came to Canada in 1901. They had one son and four daughters. He was a member of the Anglican Church.
