Memorable Manitobans: Lionel “Lyoa” Bohemier (1908-2002)
Artist.
Born at St. Norbert on 5 August 1908, he worked as an artist and exhibited in stores and galleries in Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Mexico, Japan, China, the USA, Australia, and Canada. He died at Winnipeg on 7 March 2002 and was buried in Assumption Cemetery.
