Born at Sherbrooke, Quebec on 19 October 1864, he came to St. Boniface in 1902 and worked as a building contractor until retirement around 1923. He died at Hospice Tache on 26 July 1938 and was buried in the St. Boniface Cemetery. He was survived by his wife, two sons, and two daughters.
