William Horne Bewell

Farmer.
He farmed near Rosser and was active in the early activities of the Manitoba Grain Growers Association, serving as the shareholders' auditor for several years. He served as President of the Manitoba School Trustees Association (1910-1912). He retired to British Columbia in 1920.
He and wife Emma Edwards (1852-?) had nine children: Henry Edwards Bewell, George H. Bewell (1877-?), Frank W. Bewell (1879-?), Herbert H. Bewell (1880-?), Margaret M. Bewell (1883-?), Vincent R. Bewell (1886-?), Ross E. Bewell (1888-?), Vera R. Bewell (1890-?), and Evelyn A. Bewell (1892-?).
He died at Prospect Lake, British Columbia on 12 January 1925.
