Educator, business executive.
Born at Homewood on 24 November 1929, daughter of Rose Ellen Crossley (1903-1996) and Ernest Edward Last (1904-1981), she taught in many Manitoba communities. In 1970, along with her husband Donald Baker (1927-2005), they started the heating company Custom Vac Limited. She served on the Board of Directors and was Vice President, President, and Secretary of the Red River Co-op for 14 years. She died at Winnipeg on 12 December 2004 and was buried in the Glencross Cemetery.
