Community activist.
Born at Bangor, Saskatchewan on 5 November 1916, daughter of Welsh immigrants Shan and David Thomas, she married Norman Joseph Axworthy (1913-1990) and they had four sons, including Lloyd Norman Axworthy. She was active in the United Church and Liberal Party. She served on the National Parole Board. She died at Winnipeg on 21 June 2009.
