Educator.
Born at St. Boniface on 9 April 1957, one of five children of Doric “Red” Allard (1922-1995) and Isabelle Verreault (1919-1996), he received an Arts degree in French Literature and a Master degree in Education. His career in education including teaching at College Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau before serving as the Principal of Viscount Alexander School (c2009-2011) and Vice-Principal of Oak Park High School (2011-2015). He was President of the Board for the Gabrielle Roy House and was active with Canadian Parents for French. He died at Winnipeg on 23 May 2023. He was survived by a wife and three sons.
