Cleric.
Born at Burysthorpe, Yorkshire, England on 14 June 1861, he came to Canada and was ordained as an Anglican minister the Diocese of Rupert’s Land in 1910. He served at St. Mark’s Anglican Church at Baldur (1907-1910), St. John’s Anglican Church at Reston (1910-1911), St. Matthew’s Anglican Church near Bradwardine (?-?), St. Luke’s Anglican Church at Emerson (?-?), St. George’s Wakefield Anglican Church (?-?), and St. Peters (?-?). He retired in 1937 and moved to Selkirk.
He and wife Mary Elizabeth Bate (1872-1961) had two daughters and two sons, including Frederick Lewis Walker (1895-?) and Walter Humphrey Wilfred Walker. He died suddenly at his Selkirk home, Stanley Avenue, on 12 November 1938 and was buried in the St. George’s Wakefield Cemetery.
