Community activist.
Born at High Bluff on 12 January 1890, son of ? Sullivan and Mary Cook, he worked as a livestock traffic manager with the Canadian Pacific Railway for 50 years, retiring in 1955.
On 3 June 1933, he married Anna Schwipple (?-?) at Winnipeg and they had three children: William Neil Sullivan, Shirley Sullivan (wife of K. A. Pettapiece), and Patricia Sullivan (wife of H. Thomasson). He served as President of the Thistle Curling Club (1933-1934), Manitoba Curling Association (1938-1939), and Greater Winnipeg Game and Fish Association (?-?). He was a member of the Masons (Assiniboine Lodge No. 7) and Khartum Shriners.
He died at the Grace Hospital on 19 May 1973 and was buried in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
