Farmer.
Born on the family farm in the RM of Whitehead on 9 April 1909, son of Alfred Stott and Cassie Jane Durnin (1883-1916), he farmed until retirement in 1975 and later moved into Brandon. On 7 July 1945, he married Gweneth May “Gwen” Black (?-1977) and they had a son and a daughter. He had a lifelong interest in archaeology and history, and was recognized by the Manitoba Archaeological Society for his contribution to preservation of the former Indigenous site on his farm that became known as the Stott Site. He died at Brandon on 26 July 1991 and was buried in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens.
