Memorable Manitobans: Hugh “Tubby” Sinclair (c1917-2000)

Civil servant.

As Base Townsite Officer at CFB Shilo, Manitoba, he was responsible for the administration of married quarters which housed Canadian and German families. In 1979, he was inducted into the Order of Canada. He died at Brandon on 5 April 2000 and was buried in the Virden Cemetery.
