Memorable Manitobans: Henry L. Ross (1865-?)Farmer, municipal official. Born in Ontario on 8 December 1865, he came to Manitoba and farmed with his widowed mother and siblings in the Rural Municipality of St. Francois-Xavier. He served as a councillor for municipality in 1897 and from 1900 to 1905. In this capacity he attended the 1905 founding meeting in Brandon of the Union of Manitoba Municipalities.
