Curler.
Born on 24 March 1955, he was a three-time Manitoba curling champion, one-time winner of the Labatt Briar (1992), placed third in the World Curling Championship (1992) and won the Manitoba Seniors’ Championship (2008). He was inducted into the Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame in 2005. He worked as an icemaker in the winter and a greenskeeper at the Meadows Golf Club in the summer. He was also a superb golfer. He died at the St. Boniface Hospital on 27 March 2016.
