Memorable Manitobans: Hugh Pedley (1852-1923)Cleric. The pastor of Winnipeg’s Central Congregational Church, he was a keen curler and was chaplain of the Manitoba Curling Association at the end of the nineteenth century. He introduced the curlers’ service at the Manitoba Bonspiel in 1895. His papers are in the United Church Archives, Toronto.
