Memorable Manitobans: Richard Henry Patmore (1903-1979)


Born at Brandon on 28 March 1903, son of Henry Lewis Patmore and Alice Ball, he operated his father’s nursery business in Brandon. In 1973, he was given a Manitoba Good Citizenship Award in recognition of his community service. He died at Brandon on 30 June 1979 after a lengthy illness and was buried in the Brandon Cemetery.
