Memorable Manitobans: Robert Melvin (1896-1967)
Municipal official.
He lived at Pierson and served as Reeve for the Rural Municipality of Edward (1938-1960) and trustee for the Antler River School District for 11 years up to his death. He died at Melita on 22 September 1967 and was buried in the Pierson Cemetery.
