Memorable Manitobans: George Albert McMillan (1900-1944)

Municipal official.

Born at Arden on 27 October 1900, one of four children of Robert McMillan (1866-1940) and Helen “Nellie” Istead (1864-1952), he was Reeve for the Rural Municipality of McCreary (1943-1944) and a member of the Orange Lodge. He died at Dauphin on 23 August 1944 and was buried in the McCreary Municipal Cemetery.
