Memorable Manitobans: Craig Harold Mains (1950-2010)


Born at Dauphin on 14 June 1950, in his early twenties, he became a crane operator and was highly respected in his trade but, in 1994, he started his own crane rental business which grew to become one of the largest such companies in western Canada, with a subsidiary in the United States. He died at Needles, California on 19 February 2010.
