Memorable Manitobans: William Litchfield (c1843-1914)Estate manager. Born at Manchester, England, he came to Winnipeg in 1878 where, for 31 years, he was manager and executor of the large McIntyre estate. He died at his Winnipeg home, 265 Young Street, on 14 April 1914, survived by his widow and four children.
