Farmer, municipal official.
Born at Lipton, Saskatchewan on 13 November 1914 to Theresa Uhrich (1894-1969) and Georg Kraushar (1887-1972), he married Dorothy Aileen “Mouse” Lamont (1918-2011) and they went on to have three children. They lived in Dugald and operated a grain farm there. He had an avid interest in his community and served as a Dugald school trustee, councillor and Reeve (1967-1971) of the Rural Municipality of Springfield, a director of the local agricultural society, and a member of the church board. He was known his wit, humour, and compassion. He died at Kelowna, British Columbia on 16 April 2006.
