Educator, insurance agent, municipal official.
Born on the family farm at Brokenhead on 17 December 1929, son of Harry Gregory Kozyra (1898-1990) and Katherine Patricia Kryschuk (1911-1981), he taught at White Poplar School (1948-1952) and St. Ouens School (1952-1955) before joining Reimer Agencies in 1952 and purchasing the business in 1967. He sold it in 1985 to devote his time to serving on boards and organization, as Reeve for the RM of Brokenhead, the Lions Club, and a trustee for the Sunrise School Division. In recognition of his community service, he was made a life member of the Manitoba Good Roads Association. He died on 25 March 2021, survived by a wife and two children.
