Veterinarian, municipal official.
Born in the RM of Stanley on 2 September 1888, son of ? Hennan and Dorothy Catherine Armstrong, he was a veterinary surgeon by 1915 when he enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. After his military discharge, he moved to Elkhorn in 1920, where he worked for the next 45 years. He was also an auctioneer from the 1930s to the 1950s. He was a member of the Masons, Elkhorn Brass Band, Royal Canadian Legion, Elkhorn Agricultural Society, Elkhorn Stadium Commission, and Elkhorn Chamber of Commerce. He was a school trustee and was Mayor of Elkhorn (1965-1968). He was involved in the establishment of the Elkhorn Antique Automobile Museum. He died in 1975 and was buried in the Elkhorn Cemetery.
