Community activist.
Wife of grain merchant George Heffelfinger, she was a Liberal candidate in the 1969 provincial general election. She was also active in arts and social causes in Manitoba and British Columbia, for which she was inducted into the Order of British Columbia (2000). She died at Victoria, British Columbia on 22 June 2011.
