Memorable Manitobans: William Horner Groves (1854-1915)

Journalist, civil servant.

He worked as a journalist in London, England for many years, coming to Winnipeg in 1900 to join the editorial staff of the Winnipeg Telegram newspaper. He later served as Confidential Secretary to Premier R. P. Roblin. He died at his Winnipeg home, 377 Toronto Street, on 6 January 1915.
