Elwood Clinton Gorrie

Municipal official, Brandon Mayor (1975-1977).
Born at Wawanesa on 27 November 1915, son of Charles Gorrie and Evelyn Thornber (1890-1974), he was the Chair of the Brandon School Board (1959-1960), President of the Manitoba Association of Urban Municipalities (1976- 1977), and Mayor of Brandon (1975-1977). He died at Brandon on 3 July 2002.
