Memorable Manitobans: Albert Ewald (1883-1972)

Educator, cleric.

Born on a farm at Port Elgin, Ontario on 2 January 1883, son of Adam Ewald and Christianna Schell, he worked as a pastor and taught school, serving as the Principal of Tummel School (1931-1933) and Garson School (1933-1934). On 23 October 1920, he married Cora Agnes Wilson at Morden. He died at Vernon, British Columbia on 19 November 1972.
