Memorable Manitobans: Thomas Early (c1852-1921)


Born at Renfrew, Ontario, he came to Winnipeg in 1876 and was employed for a number of years by the Dominion Express Company. He later started a feed and horse sales business on Princess Street, and was proprietor of the Farmers’ Home, a boarding house on King Street. He retired from business around 1901, and died at his Winnipeg residence on 25 June 1921.
