Newspaper columnist.
Born at Killarney on 22 October 1931, son of Albert Ernest “Ernie” Dagg and Dorothy Laraynne Comba, he served for 20 years with the Royal Canadian Air Force (1951-1971). He also worked at Sears, Telesky Taxidermy, and the Department of Transportation. An avid hunter, fisher, sportsman, and writer, he spent 33 years as an outdoor writer and columnist for the Winnipeg Free Press. He died suddenly on 27 July 2012 as a result of an accident.
