Journalist.
Born at Combermere, Ontario in 1880, son of Calvin Wesley Dafoe (1842-1916) and Mary Anne Elcome (1840-1913), brother of John Wesley Dafoe, he came to Manitoba with his family in 1887 and settled at Killarney. He joined the staff of the Manitoba Free Press in 1901 and served as its News Editor, Executive Editor, Managing Editor, and Comptroller. He died at Killarney in January 1970.
