Memorable Manitobans: William Henry Cousins (1858-1942)
Municipal official.
A leader in the development of southeastern Manitoba and one of the founders of Lac du Bonnet, Cousins served as Reeve of the Rural Municipality of Whitemouth for several terms. He died at the St. Vital Sanatorium on 20 March 1942, at the age of 84, and was buried in the Whitemouth Old Cemetery.
