Community activist.
She was active in the Indian and Metis Friendship Centre of Winnipeg, Native Womens Group of Winnipeg, and KeKinan Centre. In recognition of her community service, she was selected as a Woman of the Year (1986) and was inducted into the Order of Canada (1986). She died at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital on 6 December 1994 and was buried in the Fisher River Cemetery.
