Memorable Manitobans: William John “Bill” Clark (1945-2010)

Farmer, municipal official.

Born on the family farm near Isabella on 11 July 1945, son of Elmer Stewart Clark (1915-1966) and Evelyn Margaret Lelond (1918-1976), he operated the family family for most of his life. On 11 July 1970, he married Linda Reid and they had four children. He was a member of the Decker 4-H Beef Club, Miniota 4-H Beef Club, Isabella United Church, and a councillor (1972-1980) and Reeve (2001-2010) for the Rural Municipality of Miniota. He died at Hamiota on 9 November 2010 and was buried in the Isabella Cemetery.
