Memorable Manitobans: John E. Cherniak (c1910-1956)

Farmer, municipal official.

He farmed in the Gimli district and served as Reeve of the Rural Municipality of Gimli in 1945. He died at Gimli, Manitoba on 16 July 1956 and was buried in the Cyrily Mothedos Roman Catholic Church cemetery.
