Businessman.
Born at Brandon on 12 October 1923, son of Jack Carpenter and Alice Lillian Rawson, during the Second World War, he served in the Royal Canadian Navy Volunteer Reserve. After the war, he operated Stampede Motors, a user car business, at 1033 Notre Dame Avenue. On 14 August 1943, he married Lucille Virginia Hooper (1924-2020) at Winnipeg and they had six children. In the early 1960s, they lived at 55 D'Arcy Drive. The family later moved to Toronto, Ontario and he died around 2005.
