Hardware merchant.

Born near London, Ontario on 14 August 1855, brother to architect James H. Cadham, he established a business at Port Dalhousie, Ontario before coming to Manitoba in 1882 and establishing the Cadham Hardware Company in Portage la Prairie. He married Emma Smith Fox (1859-1933) in Ontario, with whom he had five children. His daughter Anna Laura Cadham married Daniel Mowat Ormond. He was at one time a member of the school board, and it is stated that he acted on the board during a serious crisis, and it was through his efforts the schools were kept open. He was also a member of the board of trade, and other service clubs, and took an interest in sports of all kinds. He also gave his assistance to the Portage General hospital, where he was a director for many years. He held various offices in St. Mary’s church. He died at Portage la Prairie on 15 February 1933. He is commemorated by Cadham Bay there.
