Music historian.
Born in England, she came to Winnipeg with her husband around 1920. In 1940 she began writing for the Free Press about the history of church music; her column was called “Romance of Our Hymns.” She ultimately published five books, including The Gossamer Thread (1937) and Stories of Popular Hymns (c1939).
She moved to Vancouver in 1953, and died there.
