Memorable Manitobans: Corinne Bernard (1898-1939)Community activist. Born at Norman, Ontario in 1898, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Philbert L'Heureux, promenient Manitoba pioneers. She was an active member of many French-Canadian organizations including the Federation of French-Canadian Women of Canada and the Society of Ladies of St. Anne.
