Dancer, choreographer.
Born at San Francisco, California on 14 February 1949, she took dancing lessons in her childhood then began formal studies of modern dance and ballet in high school. After completing a diploma course at the San Francisco Conservatory of Ballet, she toured through the western United States with Ballet Celeste. In 1972, she began performing with Winnipeg's Contemporary Dancers and its School for Contemporary Dancers. She became Artistic Director and Manager of the company's apprenticeship program in 1979 and was Associate Artistic Director (1980-1983). She created more than 90 works for the company and others. She was Manager and Artistic Director for the Margie Gillis Dance Foundation at Montreal (1986-1996). She died on 21 September 2025, after a period of declining health.
