Artist.
Born in Ukraine in 1884, she was an internationally known artist who studied in western Europe, immigrated to Prague in 1923, and joined her daughter in Winnipeg in 1949. She opened an art school in 1954. She was active in Ukrainian women’s and community organizations. She died on 22 February 1975. Her papers are at Library and Archives Canada.
