Manitoba Organization: College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba

Known originally as the Provincial Medical Board of Manitoba when it was formed in 1871, it became the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba in 1876 and was incorporated formally in 1877. It is the statutory body responsible for maintaining standards of medical practice in Manitoba.
