Memorable Manitobans: Ronald Keith Pettapiece (1926-2010)Educator. Born at Neepawa on 23 April 1926, the youngest of seven children, he taught at Clinton School (1948-1950), Rivers School (c1952), and other rural schools before moving to Winnipeg where he taught at Luxton School (1963-1966) and was the Principal of Allard School (1969-1973), Athlone School (1973-1980), and Robert Browning School (1980-1982). In 1952, he married Helen Clarinda Taylor (1927-2013) and they had two daughters. He died at Winnipeg on 10 October 2010 and was buried in the Pettapiece Cemetery.
