Born in 1918, son of Andrew Katelnikoff (c1884-1979) and Polly Katelnikoff (1887-1977), he received a degree in Architecture from the University of Manitoba. In 1947, in partnership with Ernest John Smith and Dennis H. Carter, he established the firm of Smith, Carter and Katelnikoff. He left the firm in 1958 and practiced with associates until July 1973 when he partnered with Melvin E. Craven. He died in 1974, survived by his wife Marguerita, two sons, and a daughter.
