Cleric.
Born in 1903, son of Abraham Harland (1866-1944) and Ethel Harland (1876-1961), he attended United College then was a United Church minister for many years, serving at St. Andrew’s United Church at Mather, Port Arthur (Ontario), Minitonas, Oak River, Strathclair United Church, Rivers United Church, and St. Andrew’s United Church at Ninette. In 1976, following his retirement, he moved to Strathclair.
On 30 October 1934, he married Alfreda Mildred Fulford (1900-1975) and they had two sons and three daughters. In 1976, he married widow Alma Irene Gardner (1903-1990). He died at Shoal Lake on 2 January 1990 and was buried in the Ninette Cemetery.
