Historic Sites of Manitoba: Beaumont School (5880 Betsworth Avenue, Winnipeg)

This elementary school in the Charleswood area of Winnipeg, designed by the local architectural firm of Northwood Chivers and Casey, was constructed in 1956 and opened officially in January 1957. A six-classroom addition in 1961 was designed by architect Roy Marshall Lev and a 1968 addition was designed by Pratt Lindgren Snider Tomcej and Associates.
