Historic Sites of Manitoba: Van Roon Prairie Garden (Harte Trail, Winnipeg)

This monument along the Harte Trail in the Charleswood area of Winnipeg commemorates Verna Van Roon and Len Van Roon, long-time residents of the area for their efforts in preserving its cultural and natural history, and in particular their knowledge of the local railway history. It was installed by the Friends of the Harte Trail.
