Historic Sites of Manitoba: Scarfe House (178 Hartford Avenue, Winnipeg)

This 1½-storey wood frame and stucco house on Hartford Avenue in West Kildonan (now part of Winnipeg), measuring 22 feet by 38 feet, was built in 1903 for owner John R. Scarfe, a meat and vegetable merchant.

At the time of a 2025 site visit, the house was extensively renovated from its original appearance.
